Membership Levels
In addition to membership, contributions are welcome at any time. The STA is a 501(c)(6) organization and contributions will be deductible as provided by IRS regulation.
From time to time, special events may require sponsorship, and this is an additional opportunity for those seeking publicity within the design community.
Please note: STA memberships are set up as a subscription and automatically renew on your membership anniversary.
Professional
$90 per year
Individual professionals who are interested in or associated with graphic design or visual communication activities.
Student
FREE
Student membership is complimentary for all full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited design programs in the Chicago area.
Corporate
$250 per year
Intended for organizations active in design or communication. Included with the corporate membership are individual benefits for up to four persons.
Sustaining
$500
For individuals who wish to express their support of the organization’s goals. Includes five years of individual member benefits.
Lifetime Membership
$2500 one-time
Proceeds from lifetime memberships will be invested to provide an endowment for future activities. Includes lifetime individual member benefits.
